The Legal Committee in the House of Representatives confirmed, on Wednesday, the lack of an accurate inventory of those covered by the general amnesty law, indicating that the law has reached a good stage in Parliament.
Committee member Aref Al-Hamami said, "There is no accurate inventory of those covered by the general amnesty law," noting that "the number of those covered is not calculated in a way, but rather controls are put in place for those included, because there are crimes that are not covered, including premeditated murder that requires the concession of the victim's family, theft of public money, and other crimes." Terrorism that has been proven against the terrorist 100%.
He added, "The provisions of the law are many, including the retrial of (the secret informant), and the law has reached good stages in the House of Representatives, and this law requires political consensus by the political blocs, and after that we decide whether to proceed with the law or not."
Al-Hamami pointed out that "the law is one of the laws that needs permission and approval from the political blocs, and many laws need consensus from the political blocs to proceed with it and determine who is covered."
