The Al-Azm Alliance said in a statement, “The head of the Al-Azm Alliance, Engineer Muthanna Al-Samarrai, received in his office in Baghdad this evening His Eminence Mr. Ammar Al-Hakim, head of the National Wisdom Movement, and his accompanying delegation.”
The meeting discussed "the latest developments in Iraq and the region and the importance of achieving political and constitutional entitlements, moving forward with the political process, and supporting the efforts made by the government at all political, security and economic levels."
Al-Samarrai praised "the active and pivotal role of His Eminence Mr. Ammar al-Hakim in supporting the democratic path through his continuous tours locally, regionally and internationally."
