[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / Minister of Finance, Taif Sami, confirmed: “Iraq enjoys a more attractive business environment for foreign and local investments, and has promising investment opportunities.”
Sami said during her reception with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic, Peter Štibánk, and the Economic Advisor, Roman Plevac, according to a statement by the Ministry of Finance: “Iraq has promising investment opportunities based on an advanced infrastructure capable of accommodating productive projects, in line with the state’s supportive efforts to empower the private sector and increase its contributions to The process of development and economic activity, and enhancing the capabilities of the Iraqi economy to achieve sustainable growth rates.”
She added: “We are keen to enhance cooperation and exchange experiences with the Czech side in various fields, the most important of which are financial and banking policies, and enhancing opportunities for economic and investment cooperation, with the possibility of benefiting from the Czech experience in the infrastructure and reconstruction sectors.”
