I am now wondering... if we trade say.. our 25k, 10k and 5k notes in for the new ones, will that have any tax implications, since at that point we will have technically only held the new notes for less than a year (at least we hope), where as the old notes were long term capitol gains seeing as how so many of us have had these things for several years if not a decade... I just don't trust those slimy bastards we elect....
