General Company for Iron and Steel announced its contract with oil projects in Basra company to manufacture iron pipes and length of 156 kilometers.
The director of iron pipe plant Hussein Faleh Samer said in a statement seen by the agency of our economy news that oil projects the company won approval from the Ministry of Oil on the processing pipelines with a diameter 48 Lang for use in a project to transfer water from the vine to even the Rumaila oil field, which will be implemented early next year .
Samer pointed out that the processing will be carried out in coordination with the Kuwait Pipe Industries and Oil Services under the terms of the partnership signed with them, and which requires the processing plant materials and reserve some artistic techniques.
Samer also stressed that this processing is one of the big orders which it aspires manufacturer of hand and economic feasibility, which will be manufactured according to international standards and Boaada 100% Iraqi and competitive prices.
He said the iron pipe plant had previously carried out projects 4 km long for the General Company for the pipeline, and the other along the 2 kilometers to the South Oil Company in the past year.
He described the director of iron pipe plant orders this small figure compared with the production capacity of the plant and the actual need for the ministries of oil and water resources, he said.
