    The Minister of Transport Agency Abdul Hussein Abtan, Saturday, that next Wednesday will hold a special "substantial" investment conference in Basra port of Faw in the presence of 13 foreign companies to bring the wharfs for investment, adding that the port of Faw will make Iraq the first in the region in the field of ports.
    Abtan said, "The twenty-seventh of this month, will hold a major investment conference in Basra, in the presence of 13 large foreign companies interested in the side of the ports," noting that "the conference will be a special port of Faw to refer the sidewalks."
    He Abtan to that, "if it has been agreed with the companies at the conference will be an immediate signing," adding that "next year will be a sidewalk service to the port of Faw ready, and keep our 25% of the breakwater in addition to the drilling of the track as well as the sidewalks."
    He Abtan, that "the port of Faw will enable us to be the first in the region in the field of ports and will provide significant job opportunities for Iraqis," he said, adding that "without Faw port will not be able to take the correct position in the region."
