Baghdad/ NINA /--Parliament Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi, touched with the
representative of the UN General-Secretary in Iraq, Martin Kobler, the
latest developments in the political situation on the Iraqi arena and
their implications on the democratic process.
A statement by
Nujaifi office said : " Nujaifi said during the meeting : "The
accumulated problems , the absence of real solutions , the deterioration
of the situation the service and the continuing violations of human
rights, pushed different parts of Iraq to demonstrate", expressing his
hope that United Nations play an important role and effective in
resolving this crisis.
For his part, Kobler expressed the UN
concern of the continuing crisis in Iraq, calling on the government to
move away from the use of violence against demonstrators, and must
considered their demands and discussed in a serious and fruitful way . /
