    Stressed Security Committee member of the parliamentary Majid al-Gharawi, said Friday that private security companies responsible for the protection of foreign embassies in Iraq will be subject to the law of private security companies, which legitimized the House of Representatives, including the company concerned to protect the US embassy, ​​pointing out that the law select wheels and weapons used by the bind type the registration of all the wheels within the General traffic Directorate database.
    Gharrawi said in an interview that "the House of Representatives vote on the law of private security companies represents a significant achievement for the Parliament and the Commission on Security and Defense," pointing out that "the law, older than 8 years without legislation."
    He Gharwaa, that "the law will ensure that the work of the Iraqi private security companies as well as branches of foreign companies associated with the embassies of countries and personalities, where law enforcement duties and contexts for action in terms of the quality of weapons and the wheels and the number of members of each group and their powers and their working style,"
    He explained that "the law grants certain powers to the Minister of the Interior in addition to other grants powers to the Department of Homeland Security in order not to keep those companies a monopoly on the power to the minister." 
    The Ghraoui, that "the law legislation that will put a full controls for the work of private companies without allowing them to waive the citizens," noting that "all entrusted with the companies to protect foreign embassies in Iraq, will be subject to the law, including the companies that contracted with the American embassy to protect the headquarters," noting that "the law does not specify the number of members of each company, but the arms and wheels type and is recognized in the General traffic Directorate database." 
    The House of Representatives voted in its session, which was held on Thursday (January 2017 26), the draft law of private security companies.
