Nikkei index of Japanese shares rise on Tuesday after US stocks but gains were limited with the market awaited speech by US President Donald Trump to Congress to learn about the details of the spending on infrastructure projects, plans and taxes.
The Nikkei closed at 19,118.99 points, up 0.1 percent.
And ascended broader TOPIX index 0.1 percent to 1535.32 points as Jah.ba.aks Nikkei-400 index rose by the same amount to close at 13748.21 points.
