    Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari discussed on Friday with the Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani the concerted efforts of all national forces until the elimination of terrorism and the continuation of consultations to solve problems between the federal government and the Kurdistan region.
    "Jaafari met with Barzani, and during the meeting they discussed the latest developments in the political and security situation in Iraq and the efforts of Iraqis of all affiliations in their war against the terrorist gangs," the minister's office said in a statement.
    The statement added that "it was stressed the need to combine the efforts of all national forces until the elimination of terrorism, restoring security and stability to Iraq, maintaining the unity of Iraq, continuing consultations to resolve problems facing cooperation and coordination between the federal government and the Kurdistan region."
    Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari admitted on Thursday that he is not Kurdish as a nationalist, while noting that he is sincere and sincere with the government and the people of Kurdistan.
