Mr. Hakim stressed during the meeting , according to a statement his office and Euphrates News Agency {} received a copy of it, " the importance of coordinating positions and building economic relations between the two countries because of its impact Aaahabi them and the whole region."
The two sides discussed "file to take advantage of common fields and solving problems related to these fields through the agreement and take advantage of the near possibility of oil production both in Kirkuk or South Refineries Iran dialogue."
For his part , thanked Iran 's Oil Minister Ammar al - Hakim , for the warm reception, "stressing that" the two countries have the greatest weight in the region and economic cooperation between the two is in their interest as well as the whole region , "noting that" it stems from the geographical border and economic ties shared between Iraq and Iran . " .
The Minister of Iranian oil, the Beijing Zangana, arrived in Baghdad yesterday signed with the oil minister Jabbar Luaibi, a memorandum of understanding included, the formation of joint committees to resolve a number of important files, including common fields between the two countries file and to achieve optimal investment for her and the Commission to study the possibility of extending the pipeline to transport Iraqi crude oil from the Kirkuk fields through the Iranian territory and the Committee to study the transfer of Iraqi oil from Basra to Abadan.
