    News / The security and defense committee in the parliament announced
    on Wednesday, that it had completed the first amendment of the service
    and retirement law of the internal security forces, indicating that this
    amendment includes the civilian employees.

    The statement stated
    that the security and defense committee reported for "Shafaq News" that
    “it had completed the requirements of the First Amendment to the service
    and retirement law of the internal security forces to include civilian
    employees with privileges and allowances of the associates.

    The
    statement added that "the Committee submitted the amendment to the
    Presidency of the parliament to include it on the agenda of next
    Saturday’s meeting 01/26/2013 for its first reading in order to speed up
    its legislation."

    Article 2 of the law of service and retirement
    of the internal security forces stipulates that "This law aims to
    regulate the appointment of a policeman s, his service and promotion ,
    paying his total salary, referring him to the retirement or resignation
    and exchanging his pension rights and allocated benefits ​​.
