RIYADH, June 18 (Reuters) - Prince Abdul-Karim al-Thani, a member of Qatar's ruling family, has offered his home to al-Qaeda in Iraq leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and given him a $ 1 million passport, a Saudi newspaper reported Sunday.
"The Qatari regime is suffering from a crisis of restoring confidence in the Gulf and Arab countries, by insisting on a policy of conspiring against its neighbors and brothers and threatening their national security," Al-Jazeera reported in a report. "This is what the UAE Foreign Minister, Anwar Gargash, Qatar's financing of terrorism will require a Western regulatory regime to bind Doha to it. "
"Qatar's interior minister, Abdullah bin Khalid bin Hamad al-Thani, opened the emirate in 2013 for Afghan fighters and is accused of harboring 100 militants at his ranch in Qatar and carrying them with passports to facilitate their travel," the newspaper said.
"Among the members of the ruling family, Abdul Karim al-Thani, gave his home to al-Qaeda leader in Iraq Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and gave him a Qatari passport and a million dollars." Finished
