NATO boosts defense capabilities Tunisia
BAGHDAD (Reuters) -
It plans to the European Union and NATO, to support Tunisia in the field of defense, in order to strengthen its military capabilities.
It has provided a joint document prepared by the European Union and NATO, and has been approved by the end of last year, consisting of 42 points and included 7 sections, which address the threats of hybrid, and operational cooperation, including the sea, and information security, and defense capabilities, industries and defense research and capacity-building in the areas of defense and security.
The statement explained that the main objective is to help partners enhance their abilities. The statement also singled out the Western Balkan countries, such as Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In this context, the European Union intends to allocate the budget within the NATO program "budget integrity of the building", aimed at the prevention of corruption, and the upgrading of administrative competence in the field of defense and security.
