Israeli Air Force Commander Major-General Amir Eshel on Wednesday that Israel will use all its power from the beginning the event of any new war with the Lebanese group Hezbollah, in a stern warning after ten years of another conflict between the two sides.
He said at the Herzliya annual security conference near Tel Aviv that improvements in quantity and quality of the Israeli Air Force since the Lebanon war in 2006 meant that it could, in two or three days only, to launch the same number of air strikes launched in the war, which lasted 34 days.
"If war broke out in the north, we must use all our strength from the beginning," referring to the possibility of international pressure for a ceasefire quickly before Israel can achieve all its strategic objectives.
Often politicians and generals spoke in Israel about the intention of the bombing of Lebanon violently if war broke out in an apparent effort to deter Hezbollah. Said Eshel in 2014 that Israel would launch, in the event of any other conflict, the deadliest on Lebanon 15 times than in the 2006 attacks.
He noted Eshel at the conference that "a lot of busy achieving their goals elements" in the Syrian civil war want to prevent any new military action in Lebanon, which Israel says Hezbollah has an arsenal of a hundred thousand rockets in it.
Hezbollah focuses its energies since the beginning of the Syrian war has been going on for six years on President Bashar al-Assad is allied with the support of Iran and Russia, he sent thousands of fighters to fight opposition fighters in Syria.
But the Shiite group did not change its position on Israel, which it considers its arch-foe while the Israeli army says that Hezbollah is seen in the same way.
