The World Health Organization (WHO) has said that at least 1,770 people have been killed in the cholera epidemic since the outbreak of the outbreak on April 27.
According to the Anatolia news agency, the death toll has risen by 11 people, while the number of suspected cases has reached 338,969 in 11 Yemeni provinces.
The report noted that the disease is spreading in 21 out of the 22 governorates of Yemen, and is still the province of Socotra archipelago in the south of the country alone, which did not register any case of injury.
It should be noted that the efforts of local and international humanitarian organizations do not appear to be sufficient to stop the spread of the epidemic in Yemeni territory, especially at a time when the armed conflict between forces loyal to the government of President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi, Led by Saudi Arabia, on the one hand, and Ansar Allah (the Houthis) and forces loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh, on the other.
