He stressed Iraq's interest in achieving more brotherly relations and cooperation with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in all fields, Oil and investment and exchange of experiences as well as the
    security aspect .
    The President appreciated the role and efforts of King Abdullah II in deepening the relations between the two countries and in enhancing relations of cooperation and understanding among the countries of the region.
    For his part, Safadi reiterated his country's congratulations to Iraq on its recent victories on terrorism and the liberation of Mosul, stressing the steadfastness of his country's support for Iraq, especially in its war against terrorism and its keenness to establish security, stability and prosperity in the
    region.
    While the Prime Minister, Haider Abadi, and the Jordanian Foreign Minister urged the establishment of the requirements to accelerate the opening of the border crossing with Jordan (Trebil Road).
    The Prime Minister met Safadi and discussed with him the strengthening of relations between the two countries in the political, security, intelligence and economic cooperation, the fight against terrorism and the consolidation of positions on the elimination of a final advocate in the region and address the roots of terrorism, including intellectual. Speaker of the House of Representatives Saleem al-Jubouri said during his meeting with Jordan's Foreign Minister: "Iraq looks forward to a new phase of relations after the victory against the organization and welcomes every role contributing to the security and stability of Iraq and the region." To create an appropriate environment through which economic cooperation can be achieved and the conflicts and their grave consequences can be stopped. Al-Jubouri expressed his pride in the historic brotherly relations between Iraq and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and keen to increase cooperation and coordination in the service of the common interests between the two peoples. In a joint press conference with his Jordanian counterpart, Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari said: "Iraq is keen to cooperate with Jordan to counter terrorism." Iraq aspires to play a role in reconstruction and construction in Iraq, Role in the fight against gangs of terrorist advocates.
    The official spokesman of the government, Saad al-Hadithi, said that the Jordanian foreign minister's visit came as a culmination of the efforts of the two countries in developing economic relations, establishing a high coordination base, facilitating the opening of the Tripoli border crossing and establishing an oil pipeline from the port of Basra to the Jordanian port of Aqaba.
