Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi stressed the need for independent bodies to emerge from quotas and be truly independent, announcing the launch of candidacy for submission to senior positions and independent bodies, while the honorable national role of the sons of the Faili Kurds in defending the homeland and stand against it. A statement issued by the Prime Minister's Office said that Abadi announced the launch of the candidacy for senior positions and independent bodies within his reform program.
"The independent bodies must come out of the quotas and be truly independent," Abbadi said at a conference held yesterday. "Unequal opportunities and injustice lead to injustice, corruption and the destruction of society."
"It is impossible to establish a political system without a party organization, and our steps are not against partisan action, but the mistake is to extend party work to state institutions and to be appointed on the basis of partisan and personal loyalty," the prime minister added.
"We are on the threshold of a new era and with justice, we are striking a blow to terrorism and corruption," he said. "We are not a nation of components, diversity is a force for Iraq and all citizens are equal and of the highest order, not followers of anyone."
The prime minister said that "we have as a first phase a group of independent bodies in two stages will announce a special website and opened the way for competent citizens as a first stage to end the appointment by proxy. We want to take correct steps for political and economic reform."
The Prime Minister also issued a statement commemorating the National Day of the Fili Martyrs.
"In commemoration of the great sacrifices made by our people from the Fili Kurds and the great suffering they suffered as a result of the oppressive policies of the former regime, we highly value the noble national role of the sons of this dear component in defending the homeland and standing against the terrorist attack on our country, Beloved and appreciative of those positions and sacrifices ».
The statement stressed that «the Council of Ministers has already begun to work on the justice of the victims of the oppressed and remove all the negative effects that resulted from the unjust decisions issued by the regime against the right of the Iraqi people of the Fili Kurds, such as the overthrow of Iraqi nationality and the confiscation of their movable and immovable property and other rights usurped» .
The statement pointed out that «the Council of Ministers hailed the decision of the Iraqi Supreme Criminal Court in 2010, which counted the crimes of the genocide of the Fili Kurds and forced displacement outside Iraq a crime of genocide».
