speaker of parliament hints at the end of the current political generation in Iraq and calls for "handing over the flag"

The President of the House of Representatives Salim al-Jubouri on Saturday to the end of the current political generation in Iraq, proposing to start the project "handing over the flag" to young people and work on twinning between the two generations.

"We must start the project of handing over the flag and work on the integration between the two generations and twinning between them to take the young role of hope in order to give them full opportunity in the project of the future leadership to manage the country," Jubouri said in a speech during his attendance at the fourth forum.

"You have to work to protect the homeland and rid it of all projects that will lead to the abyss of retreat and underdevelopment," he said.

"There is a need for exceptional executive work that goes beyond all problems and obstacles and is capable of creating a comprehensive national initiative to employ young people professionally and provide employment opportunities through the private sector rather than government employment," Jubouri said.

"The time has come for the majority in Iraq to come out of its silence and to say its word without hesitation through the constitution, such as peaceful demonstration, writing and speaking in the media, social media and all means of expression," he said.
