Iraq’s Ambassador to Belgrade to meet Serbian Parliament Speaker

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq in Belgrade, Mr. Falah Abdul Hassan, met the Speaker of the Serbian Parliament, Mr. Nebojsa Stefanovic.
A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by IraqiNews.com cited “During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations and the need to develop them and exchange official visits to strengthen cooperation between the two countries. They also discussed the mechanism of activation of the Joint Parliamentary Friendship Committee.”
“The two sides discussed the Syrian crisis and the Serbian position calling to resolve it through political dialogue in order to avoid more bloodshed,” the statement concluded.
