Speaker of Parliament Mohamed Halboussi said on Tuesday that Iraq is indispensable to support its Arab and regional environment to meet the current challenges.
"The Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Mohammed Al Halbusi, received at his office on Tuesday the Acting Charge d'Affaires at the Qatar Embassy in Iraq, Hussein Ali Al-Fadala, " the office said in a statement . "The meeting discussed developments in the Arab and regional arenas And ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries. "
"It is indispensable for Iraq to support and support the Arab and regional environment to meet the current challenges facing it," Halboussi said during the statement.
For his part, al-Fadala extended his congratulations to Halaboussi on his election to the presidency of the legislative authority, stressing "Qatar's support and support for its brothers in Iraq and efforts to establish security, stability and reconstruction."
The House voted on Saturday (September 15, 2018) secretly to choose the deputy from Anbar province Mohammed Halbusi as its president.
