Russian plane crashes over Nevada
Die Welt reported that the Su-27 fighter crashed over Nevada from the US Air Force's "aggressor" squadron, trained in air combat against the presumed enemy purchased from Ukraine.
Citing an unnamed source, that the American side bought this Sukhoi plane from Ukraine.
Sputnik Deutschland asserts that Takir bought two S-27 fighter jets from Ukraine in 2009.
The agency noted that the purpose of these fighters is to train pilots from the US Air Force.
In December 2016, the media reported that Russian S-27 and F-16 fighter jets were carrying out air combat exercises in the skies of Nevada, and later photographs of the training were published. Internet bloggers confirmed that the Americans had acquired Su-27 fighter jets from Ukraine.
Aviation Week had previously reported that the Su-27 fighter crashed over Nevada and was led by Lieutenant Colonel Eric Schulz, 44.
