    The local administration in Babil confirmed on Wednesday that it had received offers from Russian, Chinese and Arab companies to establish the Babil International Airport, which will be implemented in an investment manner, while noting that a delegation from the Aviation Authority visited Babil province to view the land allocated for the project, Religious and archaeological in the province. 
    The head of the provincial council, Raad Hamza al-Jubouri, said in an interview with "Al-Mada" that "a delegation from the Aviation Authority visited Babil province to view the land allocated for the Babil International Airport project and that he held talks with the local government represented by the President of the provincial council, Asaad al-Muslimawi and Hamza al-Khafaji. "
    Jubouri said that "the province has almost completed the requirements of the establishment of the airport of the allocation of land and the area of ​​6 thousand acres for the project is close to the highway linking the southern provinces of Baghdad, in addition to the existence of a rail along the land allocated for the project, and the presence of a main water station of one kilometer, The coming will witness intensive meetings on the project for the preparation of integrated infrastructure for him. " 
    Jubouri pointed out that "the airport will move from the wheel of work and absorb high rates of unemployment and will return great economic returns in addition to the revitalization of the tourism movement, both religious and archaeological as the name of Babylon in the world a high reputation because of its great cultural heritage.
    Jubouri confirmed that "the project of Babylon International Airport will be implemented in an investment way and that the local government received offers from Russian companies, Chinese and Arab and the local administration of Babylon met with a delegation from a Chinese company that wants to implement the airport in the province in the presence of the delegation of the Iraqi Civil Aviation Authority." 
    Jubouri added that "the cost of establishing the airport is not specific and depends on the designs that will be submitted by the developed companies for its construction and will be within the specifications of the world inspired by our history to be distinctive and different fit for the name of the civilization of Babylon and its great history." 
    For his part, the governor of Babylon, Sadiq Sultani said in an interview for the "range", "the readiness of the local government to present the airport as an investment opportunity after obtaining all the fundamental approvals from the Ministry and the Civil Aviation Authority."
    "A Chinese company specialized in airport construction visited Babil province and met the local government and discussions were held around Babil International Airport," he said. 
    He added that "the total area of ​​the airport will be 6 thousand acres, including 4,000 acres belonging to state real estate and 2,000 acres owned by the province." 
     The Sultan pointed out that "the local government has fulfilled all its obligations to the Ministry and the Aviation Authority and is ready to implement all other things and new after the visit of the Civil Aviation Authority." 
    He added that "the establishment of the airport will stimulate economic movement in the province and increase imports and its positive effects on the overall life in the province."
