The European Union's foreign policy chief stressed on Thursday that there was no need to renegotiate the nuclear deal concluded by the major powers with Iran, stressing that the agreement was "going well" despite US demands to reconsider it.
"It is not wise to renegotiate Iran's nuclear file at a time when the world faces a nuclear threat from North Korea," Mugirini told reporters in New York.
US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Jawad Zarif met for the first time since the nuclear deal was signed in 2015.
On October 15, US President Donald Trump is to report to Congress whether Iran is committed to the terms of the nuclear deal. Ending / 25
