Al-Azad reveals to Al-Nour the deduction of 30 billion of the capital's budget

revealed the head of the Baghdad Provincial Council Riyad al-Adadh, a significant reduction in the budget of the capital for the year 2017 because of the deficit in the federal budget, noting that the budget allocated 120 billion dinars and was deducted 30 billion of them.
"The budget of Baghdad for this year was 120 billion Iraqi dinars and has been distributed by the local government between the secretariat of the capital and the province of Baghdad and according to the projects scheduled for this year, although Baghdad needs more than this amount to cover a lot Development projects and services needed by the capital. "
He continued, "The amount of 30 billion dinars from the budget of Baghdad to become 90 billion dinars only, according to the federal budget and the deficit in the general budget," stressing that "this reduction adversely affected the completion of many service projects and important in Baghdad and will cause the halt and delay plans of the government Baghdad in the development and expansion of several projects in various fields. "
"The need to increase the amounts allocated to the budget of the capital with the high price of oil in world markets, amounting to about $ 55 per barrel, which is reflected in the high revenues of the country and improve the federal budget."
It is noteworthy that Iraq is going through an economic crisis due to the fall in oil prices and the war on terrorism, which has become a blow in the federal budget of the country.
