British Defense Secretary James Matisse has asked the military to prepare his military options against North Korea, a British newspaper said.
The Daily Telegraph addressed the tense relationship between the United States and North Korea on the theme: "Matisse calls on the US military to prepare its military options to confront North Korea."
US Defense Secretary James Matisse urged senior US military officials to prepare and make every effort to develop the military options available to deal with North Korea to US President Donald Trump if diplomatic efforts fail to resolve the current crisis over Pyongyang's nuclear program.

The paper also quoted analysts as saying that millions could fall if North Korea launched a nuclear attack on Seoul, the South Korean capital, in response to any US attack.
"Until now, Pyongyang does not appear determined to calm its rapid testing of various weapons, including intercontinental ballistic missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads."
