Hakim stream: Baghdad will not be dragged into war with Erbil

The current national wisdom led by Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, on Thursday, that the federal government will not be dragged into war with the Kurdistan region, referring to the government's intention to tighten sanctions against the region.
"The government is continuing its punitive measures against the Kurdistan region after the authorization of the House of Representatives for that," the MP for the bloc Mohamed El-Lakash said in a statement.
"The government is dealing with the situation with great wisdom and does not try to be dragged into war or armed clash, but to soft sanctions capable of forcing the region to retreat from the results of the referendum with minimal losses and not causing damage to the Kurdish citizen in the region as it is not a penalty of the crisis."
"The government intends to take new measures in accordance with the parliament if the region insists on canceling the results of the referendum," he said. Ending / 25 d
