    {Politics: Al-Furat News} The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, received, this Thursday evening, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani.

    A statement from his office, a copy of which was received by Al-Furat News, stated: “The meeting discussed developments in political affairs and the relationship between the center and the region.”
    Mr. Ammar Al-Hakim stressed "the importance of communication between Baghdad and Erbil and the importance of dialogue, as it is sufficient to resolve the outstanding problems," praising "the procedural steps taken between the federal government and the regional government, especially in the issue of localization of salaries."
    He stressed "preserving the rights of all citizens everywhere," calling for "looking at the equation of rights and duties. What is a right for you is a duty for another."
    Regarding the development road, Mr. Ammar Al-Hakim stressed that it is “a strategic project that links the interests of the region together and links the trade of the East with the West,” indicating “the importance of this project in linking the interests of Iraqis with each other through the cities through which the road passes.”
