    The Supreme Federal Court responded to the request of the House of Representatives concerning the opinion and opinion on the position of the deputies participating in the referendum of the Kurdistan Region, stressing that this is not within the competence contained in the Constitution.
    "The Federal Supreme Court received a statement of opinion and fatwa from the House of Representatives on the position of the participation of deputies in the referendum of the Kurdistan Region, and the extent of violation of the constitutional right stipulated in Article (50) of the Constitution."
    He added that "the court found by reference to its terms of reference stipulated in Article (93) of the Constitution, and Article (4) of its law No. (30) of 2005, which is the separation of disputes between the federal government and the governments of regions and governorates as well as other disputes stipulated in paragraphs In accordance with the provisions of its rules of procedure No. (1) of 2005, and in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Procedure Law No. (83) of 1969 ".
    He explained that "the court stated in its decision that it exercises those competencies in addition to its main competencies, namely, the supervision of the constitutionality of laws and regulations in force and interpretation of the provisions of the Constitution provided for in the first and second paragraphs of Article (93) of the Constitution, Its law referred to him as an oath. "
    He pointed out that "the Federal Supreme Court confirmed that it is not within its competence to give opinion and opinion in the position of the subject of the book of the House of Representatives, where other authorities are competent to give opinion and abstention in such facts and positions, and accordingly decided to respond to the request by the lack of jurisdiction.
    The Iraqi Council of Representatives has requested the opinion of the Federal Supreme Court on this subject in preparation for the suspension of the membership of the Kurds participating in the referendum.
