The UN Special Envoy to Syria, Stephane de Mistura, announced his intention to hold the next round of Syrian talks in Geneva on November 28.
"I announce to you through the Security Council my intention to hold the eighth round in Geneva on November 28," he said in his periodic report to the UN Security Council.
He stressed the need for a "successful meeting" in Riyadh before Geneva and will continue to coordinate on this path, in reference to the Riyadh conference to be held between the platforms opposed to the agreement on a unified delegation.
