Parliamentary finance reveals the value of the deficit in the month of August last

A member of the Finance Committee parliamentary Magda Tamimi, the value of fiscal deficit in the month of August last, amounted to two trillion and half trillion dinars.
Tamimi said in a statement on Saturday that "the total amounts funded for the current and investment budgets for the period from 2017/1/1 to 2017/8/31, amounted to 46.619 trillion dinars, where the share of the current budget of 41,232 trillion Dinars by 88.45% while the total revenue 43,591 trillion dinars.
Tamimi added that "the revenues of oil accounted for 81,654% by 35,594 trillion dinars, including the rounds of licenses in the amount of 3,686 trillion dinars, while the total amounts funded for the current balance and investment during the month of August 8,585 trillion Dinars ".
She added that "the proportion of salaries funded for all segments of ordinary salaries, retirees and civilians and thresholds 57,344% by 4,923 trillion dinars with the achievement of oil and non-oil revenues by 6,062 trillion dinars, which means a deficit during the month of August 2017 of 2,522 trillion dinars by 29,376% ".
Tamimi said that "this situation requires moving in accordance with two tracks, the first track towards the amendment of the legislated laws after 2003, especially for materials with financial strain that burdened the budget, as well as dealing with an unconventional view of sources of non-oil revenues to maximize it and reduce the dependence on resources gradually Oil in half over the next four years. "
"The second track is towards the accountability of the losers and corrupts who have caused the waste of trillions in thousands of fake projects and auction currency and oil smugglers."
