The governor of Ilam Qasim Soleimani announced that 950,000 Iranian visitors had crossed the Mehran border crossing into Iraq to perform the 40th visit so far.
"Some Iranian visitors have come to Iran's western province of Ilam, where some have valid passports, but they do not have entry visas into Iraq, but they can cross border crossings if they get," Soleimani said during a meeting with Interior Minister Qassem al-Araji. Official visas ".
"Some people came to the province and they do not have passports, so they can not cross border crossings at all," he said.
He stressed that "any visitor does not have the necessary legal conditions will not be allowed to cross the border crossings at all, either the Iranian side or the Iraqi."
