    Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Furat al-Shara of the Citizen Bloc emphasized the necessity of reaching an agreement among the political blocs on endorsing the elections law draft.”
    Speaking to Iraqi News, he said “The important thing is to endorse the law according to solid and sound form agreed by all blocs rather than when to endorse it.”
    Shara mentioned that “The lack of agreement among the blocs on some disputing points caused postponing voting on the elections law during the last parliamentary session.”
    “At the same time, the Parliament obliged the Independent High Electoral Commission to start the process of registering the voters and updating their records and obliged the government to pay the funds necessary for IHEC to accomplish its mission,” he added.
