      Minister of Water Resources Hasan al-Janabi said Thursday that foreign experts will arrive in the country for the next two days to review the situation in Mosul and Darbandikhan.
    Al-Janabi said that "the crisis of water scarcity will be exceeded in the coming days to increase the releases in the Tigris and Euphrates. These efforts coincide with the adoption of local administrations in the provinces measures to lift excesses on water quotas in cooperation with the leaders of security operations in order to distribute water in a fair manner, as well as the sustainability of the work of water projects. "
    During his visit to the city of Mosul, al-Janabi described the conditions of the Mosul dam as "unsuspecting", as there were no risks and was not directly affected by the earthquake that occurred during the past few days.
    He added that "foreign experts will arrive during the next two days to see the final status of Mosul and Darbandikhan, while other geologists work to assess the situation in the dam of Darbandikhan, considering some decisions to reduce the level of water dam to find the extent of damage, but there is a conviction of safety To a certain extent. "
     He also confirmed, according to the recording of a video broadcast on the social networking sites (Facebook) that the crisis of water scarcity occurring in the southern provinces will take effect over a period of 7-10 days, as the ministry took measures to resolve this problem, the most important pumping about 90 cubic meters in the Euphrates basin and the proportion Similar in the Tigris river basin.
