Abadi: The next stage will be for reconstruction and services
26/11/2017 12:00 am [rtl]A hospital for cancer diseases opened in Baghdad Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said the work for the restoration of life for all institutions of the state, pointing out that the next stage after the call will be for reconstruction and services to citizens. A statement by the Prime Minister's Office received by Al-Sabah said that "Abadi opened on Saturday the National Center for Cancer Diseases and laid the foundation stone for the establishment of the Center for Hematology of Adults and Children in the City of Medicine and the cornerstone of the Rehabilitation Center for spinal cord injuries at Ibn al-Kaff Hospital." Abbadi said that the opening of the 400-bed center, which represents three times the current number in Baghdad, came from a decision by the prime minister and with great efforts from the ministry and the associates. The previously abandoned center was turned into a treatment center for patients. "We are working for the restoration of life for all state institutions, and the next stage will be a reconstruction of citizens' services," he said. The statement pointed out that al-Abadi toured the National Center for Cancer Diseases to see its sections and corridors. According to the statement, the prime minister also laid the foundation stone for the bone marrow and spinal cord hospital, the first of its kind in Iraq, and will treat thousands of wounded in Iraq instead of traveling abroad and bear the burden. Abbadi also laid the cornerstone for the rehabilitation of the wounded of the security forces, the popular crowd and the other wounded, who will take care of the wounded heroes who made great sacrifices.
