The United States and Rwanda are on the verge of signing an agreement to deport thousands of sub-Saharan African migrants, The Times reported on Monday.
"Under the agreement, the Israeli authorities will pay $ 5,000 for every immigrant who accepts Rwanda to receive him, after final arrangements have been made between the governments of the two countries," the paper said in a news release.
"Some 39,000 illegal immigrants, mostly from Sudan and Eritrea, entered Israel between 2006 and 2012, according to official statistics," he said.
