, according to media reports that the leader of North Korea , Kim Jong - un ordered the execution of a senior official because of the postponement of a new missile test, days after the execution of another official described as " the second man in the country."
The official, who was executed, caused failures at the Bongji Re nuclear base, which delayed the launch of a missile in a new experiment, the director of the Office-131, which is responsible for the construction and operation of the nuclear base.

Five days ago, a senior official who was described as "the second most powerful man in North Korea" disappeared from public life, raising speculation that he may have been executed.
There is no official information from Pyongyang confirming the execution of officials, but Kim's visit to Mount Paektu indicates that North Korean leaders used to go there before making strong decisions such as execution of officials.
