[ltr][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]BAGHDAD, Jan 7 (KUNA) - The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers chaired a meeting on Sunday to resolve the import and export of goods and goods through the country's ports.
The meeting was attended by the members of the Diwan Commission 39 to monitor the import of goods consisting of the Ministries of Transport, Planning, Trade, Health, Agriculture and Interior, in addition to the Prime Minister's Office and the Secretariat of the Civil Crisis Management Cell. The meeting concluded with the proposal to connect border ports with optical cable network, , The elimination of the process of bypassing import licenses, the reactivation of random checking by the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control, and work to include all imports with conformity certificates or examination reports to eliminate Manipulations practiced by some saviors and merchants.
The meeting also dealt with the problem of tax evasion, the mechanism of operating electronic systems to prevent it, and how to control the air freight operation, stressing the increase of revenues of the port of Safwan border by 400% last year because of the procedures followed by the Committee, and control most of the fraud and fraud and tax evasion.
