    Parliament holds its session open and resume Monday


    The House of Representatives decided on Sunday to keep its second session of its last legislative term open and resume on Monday.
    A parliamentary source, told the "Journal News", that "the Presidency of the House of Representatives decided to keep the second session of the last legislative term is open on the resumption of the meeting tomorrow."
    He added that "the meeting witnessed today the reading of a report and discussion of the draft law amending the Penal Code contained in the Penal Code No. (111) for the year 1969 and other special laws No. (6) for the year 2008."
    He added that "the session also witnessed the vote on the wording of a resolution issued by the Committee on Culture and Information requires the authorities concerned to facilitate the procedures for the export of the Iraqi book, and vote on a parliamentary decision that considers Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine."
