    [ltr]The US Air Force Command in the Pacific reported that it had deployed three strategic B-2 Spirit bombers capable of carrying nuclear weapons to an air base on the island of Guam.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"About 200 soldiers and three B-2 bombers were deployed at the Anderson base to support the Pacific Command Fighter and the Deterrence Mission," said a statement posted on its Twitter page.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The statement did not say how long the bombers would remain on the American island of Guam.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Washington has repeatedly declared that North Korea's policy is one of the most dangerous threats in the Asia-Pacific region. In November 2017, Chief of Staff of the US Air Force General David Goldfin said that his forces, based on Pyongyang's actions, intended to maintain the permanent presence of at least one of its strategic fighter jets on the island of Guam in the near future. He added that the P-1, B-2 and B-52 bombers would be deployed on the island.[/ltr]
