    [rtl]Sumer News: A Kurdish government source said on Monday that the delegation of the federal government has arrived in the capital of the Kurdistan region to hold the second meeting on resolving some of the differences and outstanding issues between Erbil and Baghdad .[/rtl]
    [rtl]The Baghdad delegation to Erbil is headed by the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers Ali al-Alak and includes 15 senior officials representing the Ministry of Interior, Transport, Communications and Water Resources and representatives of the Office of Prime Minister Haider Abadi .[/rtl]
    [rtl]The source added that the delegation will discuss with a delegation from the Kurdistan government the issue of joint management of border ports and airports, lifting the ban on flights from the region, and the issue of managing dams as well .[/rtl]
    [rtl]The delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government, which visited Baghdad earlier on Saturday, announced talks he described positively with the federal government .[/rtl]
    [rtl]The spokesman for the Ministry of the Interior Major General Saad Maan had announced the day before yesterday to hold a "fruitful" meeting of the delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government headed by Interior Minister Karim Sinjari with a delegation of the Iraqi government headed by the Minister of the Interior Federal Qassim Araji .[/rtl]
    [rtl]The control of airports and border crossings is one of the thorny issues between Baghdad and Erbil, where Arbil calls for joint administration according to the Iraqi constitution, while Baghdad demands to hand over the administration of all ports of the border region .[/rtl]
    [rtl]The Iraqi government suspended flights to the airports of Erbil and Sulaymaniyah, as of September 29, 2017 against the background of the referendum of separation conducted by the territory, and allowed only daily flights to Baghdad airport .[/rtl]
