    Information / Baghdad ..
A deputy close to Prime Minister Haider Abadi threatened Tuesday to "suspend" negotiations with the Kurdistan region and resort to "other options" because of the insistence of the Kurdistan Democratic Party headed by Massoud Barzani not to cancel the referendum, stressing that Baghdad will not stand idly by.
"The government of Arbil demanded Baghdad to redeploy the Kurdish forces in the disputed areas and Kirkuk and withdraw the federal forces as well as the non-delivery of airports and their operation and border crossings," MP Jassim Mohammad Jaafar said in a statement.
He added that "the KDP's insistence on not canceling the referendum and escalating its position will force the central government to suspend negotiations between the parties and think about the options available."
Jaafar said that "the federal government under the Kurdish escalation will not stand idly by and will complete the imposition of security in the disputed areas to restore the rights of the Kurdish citizen stolen from the Barzani party." Ending / 25 d
