The deputy of the National Alliance, Ali al-Badiri, on Tuesday, ignored the Presidency of the Parliament to request the progress of a group of deputies, demanding the integration of a paragraph within the law of parliamentary elections and local prevent all those who have indicators of corruption to run for elections.
Al-Badairi said in a press statement that "about 70 deputies signed a request submitted to the Presidency of the Parliament to include a paragraph within the law of parliamentary and local elections include the prevention of the nomination of each of the indicators of corruption and authorized by the Court and the Electoral Integrity Commission, Parliament ignored the demand. "
"This paragraph is necessary and necessary and is the best at the moment to reassure the Iraqi people and restore confidence to them by preventing all those who caused the waste of public money and stealing the people's money from running for elections."
