A member of the Committee on Security and Defense Representative Hassan Salem, on Monday, the crime of al-Baghdadi, carried out by US forces, "contempt for the sovereignty of Iraq and the government," and called on the Prime Minister to reveal the number of troops currently in the country.

"There are eight US military bases inside Iraq, we do not know the number of troops and their equipment," he said, adding that "the prime minister and commander-in-chief of the armed forces need to disclose the size of US combat forces and the duration of their stay in Iraq before the House of Representatives and the people."
