Jordan reveals talks with Iraq to enter trucks

The head of the owners of trucks Mohammed Khair Al-Daoud, on Tuesday, talks with the authorities concerned, to allow the entry of Jordanian trucks into Iraq because of the Iraqi security situation improved significantly.
"The re-opening of the border with Iraq recently allowed about (1000) trucks to restore their activity before the decision to close the border, which means the revitalization of this sector, although it Is limited at the moment, "expressing his" aspirations that the truck sector will be better off in the future. Al-Daoud said that "about (100) trucks reach the area of exchange with Iraq and unloading cargo there to be transported by Iraqi trucks to the Iraqi interior, which is a burden on them."
The Jordanian official said that "allowing the entry of Jordanian trucks into the Iraqi interior, after the exchange area, is a valid indicator for both countries."
