    [rtl]The head of Iran-Iraq Chamber of Commerce Yahya al-Ishaq accused Saudi Arabia of trying to prevent the establishment of economic projects on Iranian companies, referring to the plans of Moscow and Riyadh to acquire Iraqi markets.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]"Iraq's trade potential is very wide, and there is a possibility of trade between the two countries reaching 20 billion dollars a year," he said.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]"Of course, access to this figure must be done by coordinating actions and measures and setting priorities," he said.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]He added that the strengthening of security in Iraq will increase the competition of other countries to Iran in the Iraqi market, especially in reconstruction projects and technical and engineering services, especially as these countries are trying to provide financial assistance to Iraq.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The head of the Iranian-Iraqi Chamber of Commerce said that "Russia has proposed to Iraq to exempt from the debts owed by the estimated $ 28.2 billion provided that the economic projects on Russian companies."[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]Al-Ishaq pointed out that "Saudi Arabia has allocated several billion dollars to finance technical projects in Iraq in return for not to put these projects on Iranian companies.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]He stressed that Iran-Iraq relations need to pay particular attention to economic affairs and a new economic policy to preserve Iran's share in the Iraqi market.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The Iranian-Iraqi Chamber of Commerce said that the volume of trade exchange between Iran and Iraq currently stands at 8 billion dollars. He said that the trade balance is tilting toward Iran, as exports of Iranian goods to Iraq constitute most of the volume of trade exchange and there are no Iraqi exports to Iran.[/rtl]
