A representative of the US Agency for International Development in Iraq, Michael Nerpas,

on Sunday, attracted more than 25 donors and collected $ 875 million for the rehabilitation of infrastructure.

"We have attracted more than 25 donors and raised $ 875 million to rehabilitate critical infrastructure such as water lines, schools and health units," Nerbas said at a round table at the US embassy in the presence of a number of media outlets.

"$ 190 million has been used to rehabilitate 166 sites in Anbar, while 37 schools have been funded with $ 39 million," he said.

He added that "35 thousand students benefited from it, as we contributed to the financing of the Ramadi water network in Salah al-Din," adding that "the central building was funded hospital teaching the hospital works 5 thousand people and benefiting 10 thousand patients at a cost of 28 million."
