The Prime Minister, Haider Abadi, announced that the abolition of staff deductions will be by the House of Representatives when the adoption of the budget in 2018.
Abadi said in a press statement received by "Economy News" that "the additional tax deductions from salaries of employees, which is 3.8 percent, is in the House of Representatives and he can raise them so as not to make electoral bidding."
He added that "deductions added by the House of Representatives in 2016 and when they asked me the Finance Committee in the House of Representatives added to the budget two years ago did not agree to increase the tax on employees in this form they added and took responsibility."
