    [ltr]Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi laid the foundation stone for the Samawah power plant on Monday and laid the foundation stone for another $ 600 million economic project.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"The Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi laid the foundation stone for the project of hydrogenation of naphtha and improving gasoline in the province of Muthanna with a capacity of 12 thousand barrels / day at a cost of 600 million dollars," the ministry's media office said in a statement received by Mawazine News.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The office added that "Abadi has also laid the foundation stone for the project of the Samawa electric station, which operates in the composite cycle."[/ltr]
    [ltr]"The plant will generate 750 MW of power to the Iraqi national grid and GE will implement it by installing 4 9E gas turbines in a simple cycle during the first phase of the project."[/ltr]
