Low oil prices due to the increase of 'Excavators' in the United States

World oil prices fell on Monday as the number of oil rigs in the United States rose, but prices remained at their highest level in three years.
Brent crude futures prices were at $ 3.74, or $ 0.35 per barrel, down 0.5 percent or 39 cents on last week's $ 75.47, according to Reuters.
This level of price has not seen the market since November 2014. West Texas Intermediate crude (WTI) was 67.89 bpd down 21 cents, or 0.3 percent from the previous session, at $ 68.10.
In the United States, 5 rigs were added during the past week, bringing the total number of rigs to 825, the highest level since March 2015. Brent rose nearly 6 percent in April, the second consecutive month in which prices have risen. The possibility of the United States re-imposing sanctions on Iran, as well as stumbling production in Venezuela and Angola.
